BATTLING CANCER & ALMOST HOMELESS

Hello, my name is Linda. I am 38 years old and was diagnosed with Breast Cancer July of 2002. I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd find myself in this type of situation but here I am and I am devisgated. My fiance or ex fiance and I moved to Los Angeles from Michigan the prior year. We made so many plans to get married and buy a home and for me to finish Esthetician school. We were going to set up a facial room in our home for me to work out of. Going through the surgery and now treatments has been hard on us both and now that I am almost done he now tells me he no longer wants to support me and that after my treatments I need to find someplace else to live. Since he has been the sole supporter over the last year with me not working while dealing with the cancer I am at a lost. He knows I have no money or no place to go. I just started a part time job but it's not enough to find an apartment, etc in CA. I don't even have a checking account anymore, we had a joint account. I am asking for a bit of help. Advice even or donations for finding a small studio apt for me and my cat Fee Fee. To say I am scared, hurt and angry would be understatements but those are the feelings I am dealing with right now.
